Cook like a pro while leaning culinary art skills and techniques. In this course, you will learn and practice making some amazing dishes and desserts. Dishes like chicken on a pita, fried hot wings, and homemade butter pound cake with rum icing, all from the comfort of your own kitchen and Google Classroom. Every week you will receive all of the ingredients that you will need to cook entire recipes on your own, while leaning cooking techniques like chopping and dicing, sautéing, and stovetop safety. This course also covers the skills needed to earn a ServSafe® Certification that you can use to find employment in food service and restaurant businesses.

Course Description

Culinary Arts is a school-to-career path training program for high school students interested in the restaurant and foodservice industry. By integrating classroom learning with job experiences, this course is designed to provide students with the opportunities to learn and practice important skills related food preparation and food service. The skill-sets students will develop will serve as a foundation for obtaining employment in the foodservice or restaurant business or to purse further study in culinary arts.

Students who take/complete this course
